PRIVACY POLICY |
At CIA Training Academy, we
recognize that the student’s privacy is important.
This document outlines the types of personal
information we receive and collect when you register
with CIA, as well as some of the steps we take to
safeguard information. We may use personal
information to provide the services you've requested
and to confirm your enrollment, tuition paid and
course details by email. Occasionally, we may email
our students about special courses and other issues
that are in addition to the standard available
courses that we believe would be quite helpful to
our students as they begin the career as a claims
adjuster. If you choose to opt out of these emails,
we take every effort to make the requested changes
right away. CIA wants to assure its students that
their personal information is never passed on to any
at anytime. We hope this will help you make an
informed decision about sharing personal information
with us. |
CANCELLATIONS/
SUBSTITUTIONS |
You may cancel your enrollment
and request a refund up to five days before the
course begins. You may reschedule to a different
course listed on this website (that isn’t already
full) by emailing our support team at
questions@txcia.com
no later than 48 hours before the course begins.
Substituting another student is acceptable, however,
you must notify our support team by email
(questions@txcia.com) no later than 48 hours prior
to the start of the course - this email must include
all the replacement student’s information (the same
info that you supplied) outlined on our webpage
txcia.com.
Due to the fact that we limit class size and once a
course is full, we stop taking further student into
that course, there are no refunds for no-shows that
do not reschedule or substitute another student
within 48 hours of the first day of class. If a
refund is approved, all course materials must be
returned in resalable condition before the refund
will be mailed. A 15% administrative fee will be
charged for all such cancellation requests (minimum
$50). Please reference your student ID number in all
correspondence with us. |
REFUNDS |
We never been asked for a
refund, but our refund policy is simple: if you
believe that your money and your time in our course
was not well spent, you will get a full refund. We
ask that you simply write us a letter, postmarked
within 5 business days of the completion of your
course and explain why you believe that you didn’t
get a good value.
Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing a refund. |
LOST
CERTIFICATES |
A
$25
processing fee is applied for each duplicate
certificate. |
RECORDINGS |
No audio or video recordings
are allowed during instruction. |
COURSE
CANCELLATIONS/
RESCHEDULES |
Occasionally, events happen
beyond our control.
CIA Training Academy
reserves the right to cancel any course up to 7
(seven) days prior to the first day of the course.
Enrolled students will be promptly notified and
given the choice to reschedule to an equivalent
course within a 12-month period or will receive a
full refund. |
